Just an FYI - if you missed out on the last round of Elite offers last week, they just added 2 more Alaska sailings last night. While looking for something else on Carnival's website last night, I saw the new offer and received the email this morning. I was offered a free balcony on Legend in July or August, and immediately booked the July sailing. Looking forward to my first Elite (and first Alaska) sailing!

Here is a couple questions;

  • After taking our first "premiere cruise", is an invitation  to "ultra" automatic, or what tips, help secure that next level invitation?
  • if you receive a hand pay out, would you normally "tip"?

Can't answer the first part of your question, but if I win any large amount in the casino (hand pay, BJ tournament, you get the picture) I usually tip the casino something. When I won the BJ tournament I tipped the dealer $25 (the prize was $500).  Other people have other opinions, this is just mine.

I can only tell you that I have been on a hand full of Premiere Cruises and have never been invited to an Ultra Cruise. I have been told it's based on how much you gamble from cruisers on CC.

Its a fictional number, let me explain,,,,

The prices have gone up this year by almost double the amount they are offering you 'off'!

This year our Premium cruises are priced a minimum $4-$500. 'more' then last year for 2!

We are offered $500. off with $1000 play for me, and $200 for my wife.

Our Ultra's are the same, higher priced with more off!(?)

The bottom line is,,,we're paying 4-500 more per week then last year 'with' the additional 4-500 off offers!

What cruisers have told me on ultras and premieres,,,,, if you go awhile without cruising, your offers will improve.

One couple told me they took a year off from Carnival, and were offered an 'elite' cruise, a balcony for only port fees and taxes, and their play is much less then ours!

Carnival's response to us, we don't qualify! Sure we don't qualify, cause Carnival sees us cruising 'without' the offers! That's gonna change!

That's why right now we're canceling over 30 days of cruising planed this year on Carnival, and will go to other lines with better offers for awhile!

We'd rather cruise Carnival, but the casino offers just aren't close to others!

Just got off another Premier gambled my —- off and got cruise play repeat 35% off casino rate offer.  Wow what a disappointment.  We too are taking a break from carnival.  Much better offers from land based casinos to include free princess cruise.

Cheers, good luck and happy cruising.

The above are my current offers..   We took 3 ELITE casino cruises last year, 1 bounce back and our 1 and DONE - ULTRA cruise!

There were too many people on the Ultra for our liking.  We will stick to the Elite cruises for now.  I have uploaded my offers to the URComped website and we are watching our Offers there.

I wanted to say "Thanks” to everyone who has posted to this thread. Really great information.

I have just booked our first "premier cruise". The offer is based off my DW slot play rating. (I play BJ & Craps, and have never been given a kind of benefit no DOU, BB, other anything else.) And I spend more time at the table, and tip the staff well.

We are taking a Premier cruise on 2/2/19 aboard the Splendor.

We have a very limited budget for our casino entertainment (200 dollars a day each). My wife reaches the 2000 point mark, but not much further than that.

...

 I have a question;

We never receive any offers from Carnival by email or snail mail. All her offer offers are on her VIFFP page only. How can I apply those to the “URComped” website ?

The website says; “Upload Images of both the FRONT and BACK of your offer making sure your name, players card #, or email address is visible in one of the pictures. Please make sure your entire Cruise Certificate is visible with no obstructions. (Accepted Image types are: jpg, jpeg, png).

Wezzie & Mike

I did not see that anyone replied to your question.  First I would say, to go onto the Carnival website.  Go to Manage, then VIFP - on the left you should see,  My Cruises,  My Benefits,  My Profile  (click on My Profile) - Top middle (click on Contact Settings) - there are 2 boxes, on the right - asking if you want Snail Mail or if you want Email  (OFFERS).

Otherwise you can take a screen shot of her offers to upload to URComped or use a Snipping Tool to get those Offers uploaded to them.  I hope this helps...

If you are the invited guest for an Ultra, did your significant other get cash and or entered in drawings?.. with our premier offer booking we both got casino cash and entered in the drawings?

cruiseforward

Yes, your significant other will be entered in all of the drawings, Except for the BIG prize (where you can win iPad, Mac computer, iPhone, Dell computer, BIG screen TV, etc.)  Well, that is  - Unless your significant other also has an Ultra invite.  On our "one and done" ULTRA, there were almost 700 Ultra's on the Vista - never again!  That casino is too small for that many people - there were people standing behind the people sitting at the table games and you couldn't get on a slot machine until either super late about 3am or super early about 5 am was the 'sweet spot', when you could probably play whatever machine you wanted.

I hope this helps...

Just got off the Horizon on an Elite yesterday. You get a bottle of alcohol each for you and your guest in your stateroom, a free excursion, gifts in your cabin, exclusive drawings, waived room service, free social media for the invited guest and free cheers packages for you and a guest. Less casino intensive than Ultra. If your offer is free you should definitely try it.

JazzyInRI & rondl1 - I would add to what Ontherox82 said with:

If you are flying in, they send car service to pick you up at the airport and return you to the airport after the cruise.  If you drive to the port, they reimburse you for your parking.  The complimentary shore excursion is with your executive casino host and several other staff members from the casino.
Our 1st two Elite cruises - one of the executive casino host joined about 8 of us in the steak house for dinner, on our last Elite, they sent about 8 - 10 of us to the steak house (without supervision)!
Our next Elite is in March!  There are only about 50 invited guests on the Elite cruises.  If you have an offer, I say - Take IT!!!

My friend and I both have a ton of offers and are thinking of booking a girls’ cruise.

My best offer is for $500 off and $500 free play. She also has offers for the same sailings but her offer is for $500 off and $100 free play.

Here’s my questions:

1) Is my $500 free play for me, me and a guest or to be split among or between the cabin?

2) If the $500 is only for me and she comes as my “guest” could she still get her $100 free play and/or $500 off?

3) The prices aren’t really much better than booking without an offer, does more money get deducted at some point? I’m almost leaning towards Atlantis or Vegas for the $$$ it seems like it will cost and the type of play available but I kind of want to try a premier and a girl cruise too. Miss the B2B offers!

lottiegreen56

1)  It is for you

2) Yes you will get your $500 free play and she as your guest, can still get her $100 free play

Enjoy,

~Jill

I am starting to believe something that I heard on a Premier cruise several years ago.  It depends on who else is gambling the week you are there.  I heard that the top percentage of players get offers each week.  So if I have 30,000 points (typical for me) plus my table play (which we cannot view) those points, but anyway if I am on a 'normal' cruise then that will earn me a Balcony cabin plus cash (fun play money).  However if I have the same slot points / table play on an ELITE Premier cruise (I've seen over 100,000 slot points from some of those players), so I might only receive a free interior room + less cash (fun play money).  Plus I've heard they are trying to bring back players from previous years and 'cultivate' new players, since so many people are "jumping ship" by moving their offers over to  URComped.

JMO - YMMV

I hope this helps,

~Jill

We got an email today with some new Premier dates and while looking at them I noticed something called

PremierSE or Special Edition cruises and have never noticed them before.  When I click on check eligibility it goes to our offers page and just lists what looks to be the regular Premiers.  Does anyone know anything about these Premier Special Edition sailings or how you get the offer?  Thanks.

Just got off the Brezze on a premier offer didn’t really save too much in the room cost balcony was around 1900.00 for 2. I was to have 500 casino cash my husband 100. Upon checking at the cage it was not cash as we have previously received it was uploaded to our cards. All and all between the 2 of us spent around 8000 in the casino I left with about 9000 points husband around 5000 points. Bounce back offer was a joke 50% off casino rate interior room already checked no discount on balconies. In my opinion the premier cruises have more real big spenders than a “regular” cruise therefore the better bb offers will go to those that wind up with the 30000 and above points. I saw many of people with that kind of points. Very disappointed will back off cruising for a bit. Maybe they will want me back with a better offer maybe they won’t we will see.

I also received the 50% bounce back offer off an inside cabin from my recent Conquest Dealer's choice cruise.  Pathetic, and dissapointing.  I had way less points on my NCL cruise, and recently received a free cruise offer for an inside cabin from them for 12 sailings in Feb., March and April.   Even upgrading from an inside to a balcony (we always cruise in balconies) on NCL costs less than the CCL offers.   I just booked Conquest again for March, and skipped the 50% offer, and booked the Dealer's Choice offer.  Same exact price, and at least I am getting $200 to spend in the casino.  I have been skipping the Premier cruise offers, as I find the casino is jammed packed on them.

I believe tipping helps in terms of getting the Drinks On Us card. Last cruise I was playing $5 tables games so there was no other reason for the pit boss to even fart in my direction much less rate my play. The first night of the cruise, I hit two straight flushes within the first hour at three card poker, so I started putting $1 each hand on the three card bonus for the dealer. Probably 3-4 hours of play later, I had a DOU card.

Can anyone tell me what premier vs premier special edition? Are there more benefits on the SE. We just booked SE $100 balcony with $100 obc under husband card.

Also, I have offers with free fun money will I receive this on this cruise?

Thanks for any help on this.
