Can anyone tell me what premier vs premier special edition? Are there more benefits on the SE. We just booked SE $100 balcony with $100 obc under husband card.

Also, I have offers with free fun money will I receive this on this cruise?

Thanks for any help on this.

If you have offers for money, then you should get them.  Just check in with the host when you get to the casino.

Sorry, but I can't help with the SE question.

My two cents... Last year I went on 3 premier cruises all comped free room. Gambled the same as I always did but after the last one never got a free comp since. Got the casino discounts plus free play but they are horrendous. Guess i was spoiled. I think like one person said they are full of bettors and taking only heavy bettors for the free comps. That being said i also sail RCCL and they have upped their game and comps. Same amount of play and you get one free cruise a year plus have been sent 3 and 4 day free cruises on top of that along with heavy discount cruises. I will lay off Carnival for awhile and see if they want me back after people stop accepting their bad offers. In the mean time I have RCCL and URCOMPED. I have 30 carnival cruises so its not like I was a newbie or using them for their offers.

Agree, we are canceling 31 days of planed cruising with Carnival later this year because of the casino offers! The offers from others are just much better!

I did not see that anyone replied to your question.  First I would say, to go onto the Carnival website.  Go to Manage, then VIFP - on the left you should see,  My Cruises,  My Benefits,  My Profile  (click on My Profile) - Top middle (click on Contact Settings) - there are 2 boxes, on the right - asking if you want Snail Mail or if you want Email  (OFFERS).

Otherwise you can take a screen shot of her offers to upload to URComped or use a Snipping Tool to get those Offers uploaded to them.  I hope this helps...

Thanks Jill, I will give that try.

I think all lines do it to some extent.  I have been a loyal RCCL gambler for the last 8 years but my offers with Royal have been horrendous lately!  Same amount of gambling.  I wouldn't say my offers from Carnival are GREAT, but they are better than what Royal is sending me.  Still...I'm willing to sail if someones willing to give it away!

Well not quite 30 Carrnival cruises for me only 19 but with the last weak offer post Premier I am taking a break from Carnival and giving URComped a try.  It was easy and we are only paying port taxes for spacious RCCL balcony cabin with free drinks for both of us in the casino and no fee on cash withdrawals.  They are much more responsive to emails and calls compared to the oceans plays club.

Cheers and and good luck everyone.

Just got off the Dream Premier Cruise and DH got an offer.  It says get 35% off casino rates on interior rooms.  Use rate code F6R.  Is that all you get with this rate?  Thanks.

Yep, the offers are not very good, you can get better with other companies right now!

Hopefully this will change when everyone getting these offers realizes this, or newer larger ships with more cabins to fill are ported in the US!

Hi CruiseMomTX, I just booked my very first casino offer cruise and it's the Premier Getaway on the Valor, like yours.  So, I really don't know what to expect as far as the "surprises" in store.  I know that my husband will also get the DOU card because the offer said "and a guest".  Are there certain hours you must be present in the casino for all the giveaways and drawings?  Is there a welcome aboard cocktail party and is my husband invited too?  Any other tips or hints you could give me would be greatly appreciated since this is "uncharted territory", lol.  But, I'm super excited!!!  Thanks.

"We also both got emails today saying we can book a Spring Ultra Cruise on Dec 6 so will try to patiently wait and see what sailings and dates are offered.  Does anyone know what the previous Spring Ultra information was and how many sailings there were?

We did our first Premier sailing in Sept and then a Getaway in Nov that my husband won in Aug on the Dream.  I think we enjoyed the Getaway more.  Better casino hosts, we saw a fair amount of payouts $10,000, 2 for at least $8,000 or a bit more and a bunch of smaller ones myself included for $2400!  It was a Getaway and we didn't have our bag in the cabin with DOU card and event schedule so got that in the casino.  We just happened to go to the casino and there were other Getaway people standing around asking about a welcome aboard party and not sure if there was supposed to be one or if it was in the casino but the 2 ladies that were the casino hosts had the bartender come over and take orders for free drinks for about an hour and introduced themselves, etc..  They also said since we were sailing from Galveston and DOU cards wont start until the next day just show the bartenders your Getaway lanyard with DOU card and drinks will be taken care of so that was awesome!!  We got to know a bartender Mark and tipped him well and were never thirsty the whole week!!  We were on the Valor and had awesome service. "

In your cabin there should be a goody bag with the list of "events" drawings/times, etc..  If it's not there just go right away and ask for it from the casino.  I don't think ours listed a cocktail party like usual but they still kind of did one in the casino, the 2 casino hosts introduced themselves and bought drinks for the ones there for about an hour.  Yes your husband is invited and I think gets to take part in the drawings but not sure as we were both invited guests.  There are sometimes multiple drawings a day and you have to be present to win or they draw again.  I don't think I still have the list but if you look on other Getaway or Premier reviews the list of events is somewhat similar.  Have fun!

Got the same offer after my 2/3 Dream cruise. When I looked to see what kind of pricing it would be, it wasn't very good. I was just able to book a 6 nt. on Celebrity for less than a 6 nt. on Carnival with the discount code during the same time frame :(

Gonna agree, Carnival must be real popular right now cause their prices are high! Comparing offers this year to last year, this year is 'about' $250. pp higher!

To Be honest I did try URComped got a comp cruise with RCCL after giving Carnival a break because of the sucky casino, however I miss Carnival in a weird way. I like the drink set up with Royal since you dont have to wait 15 mins between drinks but Carnival although I lost a fortune in the casinos its still the FUN SHIP.  Considering doing a premier cruise this summer...might try MSC through URComped not sure what to do

Same here, we sent our Carnival offers into urcomp, and the offers seem pretty good, likewise we've been comfortable with Carnival, the cruisers, the food, my time dining, our benes, etc., but the prices from the casino club are just too high. We cruised MSC a few years back when the Divina first came to Miami, we liked it, but they don't have my time dining, and I'm done being told when to eat!-)) Ship, cabin, food, service, everything was good. At the end of this year, MSC is supposed to open up their private island off the coast of Miami, might try them then!

How do you send your offers to this urcomp place? I just came off a 6 nt. Conquest sailing, spent PLENTY of time in the casino and didn't get offered anything. The pit bosses and hosts were very tight :(  They did buy me a few drinks in the casino, but no DOU card. I made friends with a guy who was playing nothing but green and he didn't get a card until the 4th day of the cruise, despite getting beat up by the tables to the tune of 3-4k  (I personally saw his account summary when we were discussing losses)  :(  Might be time to look for a new cruise line to lose my money on.

It’s  strange.

We left Carnival about 3 yyears ago after 20 cruises. Nothing against Carnival but just wanted to try different lines. Anyway I got a flyer in the mail so I called and got some casino offer for Balcony cabin on the Horizon 6 day for $999. Plus &500 OBC.   So I’m actually paying $500 for   a balcony on on a 6 day cruise.  I never got that good of a deal when we sailed and gambled regularly

Will be cruising on  my first casino offer soon.  It was "Getaway" with code P8V.  Anyone know details about this that they can share?  What should I expect?    Cruising with hubby.  Thanks for any help!

If your Getaway offer included "Fun Play", you'll need to make a visit to the casino cage to redeem it.  On our last cruise is was paid to us in the form of cash which was an unexpected surprise as we thought it would be loaded on our account to play on the slots or table games.   It's a good idea to bring a copy of your offer, as we have had occasions when the casino did not have record of what were were to receive, but honored what was printed on the offer we received after showing it to the casino host.

You may have also received on board credit, this can be used for anything on board the ship including using toward play int he casino.  Also of note is that the Drinks on Us card is only good while playing in the casino.
