My offer code I just booked was for F3P. It was an Ocean view with $500 casino cash and $200 OBC. I upgraded to balcony for just $50 pp more. I don't know what the codes mean but mine is the only one I have seen so far with an F, looks like most start with P or O. I also just emailed my PVP as she booked the primary guest as my husband, not me. The offer was under my account and I want to make sure I don't lose out on any perks with his name first. Anyone have experience or advice on this?

I play only slots. Spend quite a few hours in the casino every day. I have not been on Carnival though since 2015. I get too many free balcony on NCL and Mini suite on RCL offers and not many from Carnival. This is one of the first few I have gotten. The PVP used to call me all the time but I told her I won't pay full price basically for CCL when I'm getting taxes and port charges on the other 2. Lo and behold, I got some good offers

Did you have to pay anything for the Oceanviewroom besides taxes, fees & gratuities?

Can I ask how many points you average per cruise? If not no problem, lol. We are close to Galveston so it's easier to cruise Carnival otherwise we would try NCL for the first time or go back to RCL (its been a long time since we sailed RCL).

My husband doesn't gamble at all, just me. I can average anywhere from 5000-8000 points. I spend a good amount of time playing slots. I live near Baltimore so Carnival is easy too but my land based casino, after only visiting it once after it opened, started giving me free cruise certificates. Once I use them, NCL and RCL directly comp me. RCL better than NCL. NCL however has the free at sea so we always choose free drinks and specialty dining.

iamnewfieMaybe inexperienced casino cruisers will believe what you are posting, however those that frequently receive casino offers know that you do not receive the same amount of casino cash on a premiere offer as you do on a premiere getaway offer.

This thread is for honest posters

Actually, this is quite possible. Some Getaway offers do in fact come with the same amount of casino cash as the Premier offers. I've posted a screenshot of my current offers.

PS. This month I booked 2 Elite cruises from the one offer (how awesome is that?!) but it only comes with $500 in funplay not casino cash.

BT, we're on an Ultra cruise now, I got $1000., my wife got $200. when bought the cruise. Both of those amounts went fast, machines really tight!

Our Ultra prizes were,,,,,I spun the wheel and got $500. in casino cash which I lost pretty fast😨, my wife won an ipad mini 4 gold. She also won a drawing for $300. that she lost pretty fast!

I think you're right. The higher casino cash offers don't seem to be free cruises. And now I'm wondering if the Ultra cruise is worth all the hype.

I actually have a friend on the Ultra Cruise right now. Her name is Nita. Blonde, raspy voice, big personality, practically lives in the casino and apparently her and her friend brought a bunch of matching outfits 🤣. If you happen to see her tell her Stella from facebook said hi!

I think the offers lately have been very good. I am going next week on the Horizon, rec'd ocean view for $200 with $200 obc (single) and $500 in cash however I upgraded to a balcony. In my offers right now, I have a premier special edition with a free balcony, Dealers choice, getaway and premier with a free oceanview.  I like they no longer do bounce back offers where you have to book within 14 days, I rarely used them but now it seems I can book any time, which I would rather do.

Hi! I don't take my Plus until November on Conquest, but I've heard 50 cabins max, and lots of themed activities. Everything else is typical Premier. Again, that's just what I've heard. Looking forward to your review when you return! Good luck and calm seas!!

We have a Premier Plus booked on the Conquest also for November 24th.   Looked at luggage tags today and no priority like on previous Premier cruises.  I called and they said no priority on luggage tag but they will have a special line for Premier Plus guests.  Hope that is true, never seen a special line for it before.

I heard of one person this week hit around $9000., otherwise its been real quiet on the machines. Table players told me they were hit and miss, if you got up, you had to quit quick to stay ahead.

BTW, there gotta be over 500 on this Ultra cruise. The first night party took the entire showroom 3rd deck, most I've ever seen on a casino cruise. Took 20-25 mins. to get our first drink.

To those who think these offers are good, NCL is offering their members free balconies that you only pay port fees, and taxes. Carnival has to up their game, these Ultra offers aren't enough! Heard from some here that some 'elite' cruises next year are offering this! Can't say for sure as we haven't seen an Elite offer yet!

I’m on a get away. My friend did NOT get any casino cash.  I received 100. That’s what I paid to change to this date so it’s a wash.

Our welcome gift was a box of candy from cherry on top which consisted of nerds and other sugary crap that I have no interest in and promptly passed off to some family.

On the upside, I am constantly barraged by bar service in the casino asking if I want a drink. Very surprised and delighted about that. 👍 I’ve spent virtually nothing on my bar bill.

One thing I am doing differently in the casino is that I’m waiting for the winnings to add to my total on the slot machine.   Saves me money this way and I spend more time in the casino and less out of my pocket.

Just got off an ultra cruise on the Glory.

Our offer was about $100. less then regular price for an ocean view cabin, and I got $1000.in casino cash, my wife got $200.

After I found out that gamblers who gambled about the same as me, and got the cruise for free with $500 casino cash, my offer didn't feel so good!

Our ultra prizes were,,,My wife won a apple mini ipad, I won $500.in casino cash. All our casino cash disappeared quckly😂, They also had at least 3-4 drawings per day for about $300. in casino cash which my my won one, but overall we weren't leaving the cruise with the 'can't wait til our next ultra cruise feeling'!

The ultras are ok, but this cruise with an estmated 450 ultra invitees, (the casino was always packed), so I'm thinking maybe its elite cruises if we get an offer, or head to another cruise line.

My husband and I are leaving carnival as the casino perks are not as good as before. We used to gamble much less and always received a free inside that you could upgrade to a balcony on any sailing for $350. I now get free oceanview and upgrades are $600 or more on very limited sailings. Seems pretty obvious that you don't reduce perks for previous customers, especially when they are spending more.

On our last 2 cruises the casino seemed really tight, no large payouts ($10000 or more) and I didn't see many hand pays.

We are moving to RCCL or MSC via urcomped and visiting land based more often as the deals are much better. I am sure I will get an Ultra invite that I will not take (thanks for the info AmBear) as they are overpriced for the value. We always get free drinks because of our play so no sense in paying almost full price to get gadgets I already have.

I have written to the players club to express my opinion on the changes they have made but I have not yet received a response.

Same here I am excited to try out Royal.

I just came offa  premier getaway cruise on the Paradise, we got strawberry one day, cookies the next...a bottle of champagne. Also this ship doesnt have a specialty restaurant so we got comps to order on the steak menu, which wasnt worth it. We did receive $500 cash each me and my bf since he had a primer offer too they gave him the drinks on us as well. I had 2 small hits 1600 and 800 but played it back and radio silence since. Hoping to have a better experience on RCL. I learned about urcomped by accident and I AM SO GLAD I DID!! Because had i not found out about it I refused to pay full price for any other cruise and would have been stuck on carnival .

We were on that same cruise - didn't make it to the CC meet/mingle, so didn't get to meet up.  I thought there were way too many Ultras as well - we never got a drink or snack at the party.  I got the IPad mini & my DH was pulled in 1 drawing ($200 chips) and I did one of the drawings for $300 chips.  We did get a comped Steakhouse dinner, but the BB offer was truly bad -- $100 for an OV room with $100 OBC (short cruises) or $200 with $200 OBC for a longer cruise - no casino cash.  I was definitely not impressed.

We have an Elite booked for December - hopefully it will be calmer than the Ultra!!
