SweetPea0517 Posted March 11, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 11, 2018 I just found out my hubby received the elite casino offer via email on Friday for a March 24, 2018 cruise. We was pretty disappointed since we can’t leave that soon. This was his first invite to the elite casino offer. I wonder if all of the elite offers are that short of notice.... rondl1 Posted March 11, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 11, 2018 I too got the offer and I was able to rearrange to go. I've never been on an elite and not really sure what to expect. If anyone has gone I'd love to know what to expect. The woman at Carnival told me there would be 3 this year and normally the offer goes out about 3 - 4 weeks in advance and are first come first booked. And rarely if you turn it down do you get the offer again until the next year.
SweetPea0517 Posted March 11, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted March 11, 2018 What a bummer about not getting the offer again! I was just checking the flight prices & with it being spring break time frame it was outrageous prices. Over $1000 per person so that free cruise doesn’t make sense for us. Did you need to pay the taxes on it?
rondl1 Posted March 12, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2018 I had to pay taxes and port charges of $140. And luckily I was able to book on SW Airlines using points.
