soremekun Posted March 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2018 The Royal Caribbean app has a new feature, which seems to be only available for Symphony of the Seas, called X-ray Vision. If you have used it, please describe what it does and post some screenshots. Sent from my SM-G955U using Forums mobile app
Cigar King Posted March 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2018 With Royal's track record with technology, it's probably a pair of those comic book glasses. http://www.indevelopment.org/2002/classic_xray_l.htm 1

Biker19 Posted March 27, 2018 #4 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Funny that they listed a sailing for 3/23-27 in the app.
stp_mmh5 Posted April 2, 2018 #5 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Here's what it's all about... Start up in the app, must be connected to the ships wi-fi Then you line up with this photo It activates warp speed Then you can creep away. This is all view you get. soremekun Posted April 2, 2018 Author #6 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Thanks for the info. Is the last image you posted a still image or video? Sent from my SM-G955U using Forums mobile app
darthvadrouw Posted April 2, 2018 #7 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Funny that they listed a sailing for 3/23-27 in the app. It was the St-Nazaire to Malaga sailing that had STX employees (and family) as well as RCCL Vip's on board.
stp_mmh5 Posted April 2, 2018 #8 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Thanks for the info. Is the last image you posted a still image or video? Sent from my SM-G955U using Forums mobile app Soremekun, It is a live video, so you can watch as long as you would like. Fellow guests might get a bit concerned if they aren't sure what you're doing, as I got a few weird looks from passing people trying to get the screenshots Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk
soremekun Posted April 2, 2018 Author #9 Share Posted April 2, 2018 Pretty cool feature. But this can only be used in one location? But what could be some options for other locations? Sent from my SM-G955U using Forums mobile app
stp_mmh5 Posted April 2, 2018 #10 Share Posted April 2, 2018 From the app it seems to only be here for now. And the bridge area is probably the closest crew area most guests would be interested in thats relatively close. Maybe a galley view in a speciality restaurant would work? Biker19 Posted April 2, 2018 #11 Share Posted April 2, 2018 At times like this I wonder, really? RCI has time and resources to provide such a gimmick for their new app but can't have it do the most basic thing, like a reserve an attraction (which the Royal IQ app has had for 3+ years)?
