ggprincess2004 Posted April 4, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 4, 2018 We very much enjoyed our 14 day Caribbean cruise on the Caribbean Princess. We had great weather, the captain found each and every port, the service in the dining rooms was outstanding, the layout of the Horizon Court and the new décor are much better, the staff was all wonderful. Entertainment was great....I could go on, but you get the idea. Almost a perfect cruise. Others on the same cruise have gone into more detail concerning dining, condition, entertainment, et al. I will focus on one issue. We stayed in a Window Suite, and almost immediately noticed we had no temperature control in our suite. Yup, the thermostat didn't actually control cabin temperature, at all, ever. Despite various attempts by the maintenance staff to fix the problem, it never was corrected. We simply put up with a cabin that was at times significantly warmer than our preference, and at all times, warmer than we prefer. We were not alone in this issue, friends next door had the same issue. Kind of have a feeling they knew already that there was no temp control on the window suites and made a show of trying to fix the problem. Just a warning if you have one booked and are sailing soon. Thrak Posted April 4, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 4, 2018 Bummer. The temp control worked great in our balcony cabin. Weird that they couldn't fix your issue.

ggprincess2004 Posted April 4, 2018 Author #7 Share Posted April 4, 2018 Sorry to hear about the temp problem. Care to share your cabin number for future cruisers? We were in F307, but I believe it was all the window suites. F305 had problems too, and they working on 309 as well.
