Hey there,

Looking for advice from folks that have done this. Royal's schedule says they dock at 8am. I am looking at a non-stop back to the US that leaves at 11AM I know Royal is recommending no flights before 12PM using their shuttle, but is this doable if we walk off and hail a cab?

Thanks in advance!

If everything works perfectly you could be at airport check in at 09:30.

(Assuming docked at Marina Bay)

However late arrival / ship's clearance or another ship also docked causing immigration, security, taxi delays could easily eat into that.

Would I do it....No.

I would spend the night in Singapore and take that flight the next morning.

The safest way to make the deadline would be to arrange to carry off your own luggage and not leave it out the night before. You would then be the first passengers off as soon as the ship was cleared by the port authorities. Singapore port is usually very efficient and seems to handle large volumes of people but you would still have to clear immigration once off the ship and walk 100 metres to the taxi line. The trip to the airport should be approx 30 minutes in a taxi. The risks include a late docking, late port clearance and and the possibility of a second ship in port. Is it possible - YES. Would I risk it - Probably Not.

You are cutting it thin. If there is any delay in docking, even slight, you will miss your flight.
