deltableh Posted April 7, 2018 #1 Share Posted April 7, 2018 I had a coworker forget to redeem some casino certificates from her cruise on Oasis at the end of last month. She gave me them since they must be redeemed within 30 days of their issue, and I'll be sailing in that timeframe. Will I be able to redeem those certificates for cash or casino credit? sdear Posted April 7, 2018 #2 Share Posted April 7, 2018 No, you are out of luck on that :(
katiel53 Posted April 7, 2018 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2018 Even if you could use them, they probably wouldn't be a benefit to you. I had some certificates and I already had a cruise booked before I was awarded the certificates. I was told that I could use them, even though they normally wouldn't be good for an already booked cruise. They would take $200 off my price and that would be $200 off the going rate that day which was considerably higher than what I had booked previously. I said thanks, but no thanks. Rare JessyCruises Posted April 8, 2018 #9 Share Posted April 8, 2018 If they are cash out tickets from a slot, they should say what ship they can be used on and show an expiry date. If you are sailing on that ship before the expiry you should not have a problem Sent from my iPad using Forums
katiel53 Posted April 8, 2018 #10 Share Posted April 8, 2018 The OP is talking about slot machine vouchers. Sorry when she said casino certificates, I thought that was what she meant. I didn't know she was talking about slot machine vouchers. I guess her terminology confused me.:(:(
Foosguy Posted April 8, 2018 #11 Share Posted April 8, 2018 Yes, usually most expire in 30 days from issue date on Royal Caribbean ships. You should not have any issue as long as you are within that timeframe. Kyle Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Kyle Sent from my iPhone using Forums Would think that the 30 days allows for B2B customers, since the slot tickets have no tie to customer. We have certainly turned in tickets on the second cruise that we misplaced on the first. Other lines like Princess make you close out the casino account before the cruise ends, but they don't use tickets at all.
