I'm not convinced we found him. We keep turning around but not really moving. Same thing with Gem, they're spinning in place right near us.

I am on Anthem also.

The captain announced about 20 minutes ago that a young male had jumped into the sea from the jogging track on deck 15 at the stern and ask if anyone had witness him doing so. NCL Gem is still circling our ship. Anthem also is circling.

 

Captain Sprecko just announced that the young man has been identified and his family has been notified.

Captain just came on and said we are still searching, along with Norwegian Gem. The young man's family has been notified. This has been going on for a couple of hours now.

So very sorry for all onboard. Nothing matches the family's devastation but this impacts all the passengers and crew. When we sailed Oasis, we boarded the day after a jumper that was seen by many and even crew were attempting to rescue him at the time. I still think about those poor crew members as they put themselves in danger to assist someone who was obviously unbalanced. Prayers for all. Thank you for keeping us posted.
