What is the strangest complaint you have heard from a cruise passenger?

Apparently the strangest complaint I have ever heard of was that there was a desk in the elevator and you were asked if you had reservations for the car!

Honestly, couldn't tell you the strangest complaint. We either travel just the two of us and keep pretty much to ourselves or we travel with a large group who all think pretty much alike. In which case most of the complaints involve either the bars or security.

A lady was telling me all about her gall bladder once. Not sure if she was complaining or if she was proud of it.

You are lucky that she was not carrying it around in a jar. Then she would have offered to show it to you. LOL!!!

I have heard complaints about how the lifts only go up and down at the back and don't go to the theatre at the front of the ship as well. When I said that there were other lifts at the front, she said but those ones don't go to the MDR at the back. What can you say to that?

She needs to stop watching so much Star Trek.

While passing the the front desk on a cruise up the Amazon river, I heard a woman complaining that the smokers on the ship were creating so much smoke, she could not sit on her balcony. When told that the smoke was caused by people burning the rain forests, she quickly asked that they be told to stop while she was cruising the river.

I wish she could get them to stop.

It was a bit rocky, and a man went round telling everyone that the stabilisers weren't being used because the captain was trying to save fuel... he knew it all!

Whether the captain picked up a hint of this story, I don't know, but the next day, at the Q&A, the captain made a point about the stabilisers being in use since we left port, and the importance of passenger safety by using them in rocky water...

Had someone complaining about how cold the ice was on the glacier. They then grabbed some to take back to the vehicle where their partner was but it kept melting.

Sadly, not that strange. We live in FL and when DW's coworkers found out she was going snowmobiling in Russia they wanted her to bring back some Russian snow.

I often hear people saying why don't they use the stabilisers, and my reply is how do you know they aren't.

On the Vision of the Seas...after 2 days in Israel, we overheard an angry passenger asking for her money back on her shore excursion to Jerusalem. She complained that she only saw 3 of the 14 Stations of the Cross...true story.:D

She should have poured some tap water into a container and told the idiotic coworkers that it was melted Russian snow.

A couple on one of our Princess cruises complained about everything during lunch one day. The matzo balls were too small, the ribs in "spicy barbecue sauce" were too spicy, etc.

We ate with a couple like that once; just by chance (Anytime dining) were seated with them more than once. They complained about almost every single food item, with similar silly comments to those above; we thought the food was good to excellent.

On the last night they let slip that they had won the cruise in some kind of drawing; I'd just be grateful to be there and honestly, the food was great. Oh, they kept saying they were 'foodies'. Aren't we all?

Someone was telling me in their last cruise that a woman complained how annoying it was that cruise ships were always surrounded by water:')

Haha please tell me the woman was joking or being sarcastic for a laugh!

We sat with some whingers like that once, we all had soup and apparently their soups were cold despite the steam coming off them and ours being hot. They had also been given their cruise due to their casino endeavours.
