Glad the ride has calmed. Hopefully everyone will be feeling better soon.

There must have been a delay with my message on Saturday as I sent it before you would have left the hotel, but my iPad is acting up so I guess it got stuck. I thought you would be using hotel wifi. Ugh. All photos of sail away went on Facebook for you.

No fair with food pictures...they always make me hungry! :D

Hi, Jacqui. Nice to see you posting, and nicer still to read that the seas have calmed down somewhat. Hope everyone is well by this evening, as I expect it's Gala night. I know how lovely that is on the Prinsendam.

Thanks for the info re: who is in charge of what. Do you know how long some of them will be aboard? Like into or through September???

Also, I would love to hear what you think of the group playing in the Ocean Bar and the piano players in the Crow's Nest---especially if they will also be there in September.

Have a great time in Bermuda.

Well, it’s Monday afternoon here and as usual, I am behind.

Internet has been working decently so far but tapatalk decided to give me trouble so I did not get as much done as I would have liked. But I will catch up. If not here, then in Bermuda (tomorrow).

The time is starting to roll forward. Our first time change is today - in 15 minutes. There is no 2 pm on board. The hour changes then and 2 pm becomes 3 pm.

This could muck up some of our timing for some of our activities that start at 2;15 and 2:30 but I’m sure we will be fine :)

I like this time change. No lost sleep, no confusion at lunch time. Completely ideal.

So, let’s back track a little bit.

Last night was Gala night and the food was delicious. I will be posting food porn shortly. ;)

Vict0riann had the lamb, DH had the fish and I the tenderloin and everyone was very pleased.

And of course, my first appetizer was escargots and my 2nd was escargots ;). They were really well done

The show last night was fabulous. Everyone enjoyed it. The singers were great and the sound tech was perfect. In fact, several people wrote up Let Us Know cards on it. They were that impressed.!

I really like the Voyage Planner.

Not only does it list your itinerary and Gala nights but it also shows the entertainment. So here you go RuthC ;) :

Thanks Gail,

I will look at the pics and snatch some when I am in Bermuda tomorrow.

Very much appreciate you doing that for us. Thank you :D

I'll see what I can find out for you Ruth. I suspect the HD will still be on but I will ask. He's out and about as is the Captain so I'll do my best.

I hate to admit it but we didn't get to the Ocean Bar last night or Adagio because of DH. But we shall tonight.

The Ocean Bar is a trio. The Adagio a duet. I will report :)

Everything on the ship is top notch so far so I expect they will be too :D

You mean when I'm on Pdam in December, if Linda is aboard, no more signature line????

That's what I mean, Carole. Linda is not using the toodlelee doo so far (and I am happy about that). She is much better this time IMO. At least, so far ;)

I'll be interested in knowing your thoughts on the new shops onboard. No, I'm not starting an Oprah bashing thread, just wondering what you think of the type of merchandise they're now carrying.

BTW, the food porn is giving me the droolies!

Smooth Sailing! (especially for your DH) :) :) :)

kazu,

I have sailed with HD Rene at least 3 times and he is "out and about" as is Captain Dag. Mr. Tuinman runs an excellent Hotel Department; the crew likes him; very personable. Captain Dag has been Master of some of the Seabourn ships and was at Prinsendam's helm during my 2015 Christmas/New Year's Cruise. Also very personable. I think your Senior Management Team is a real winner! And, that in my opinion, will insure a great cruise experience!

Thanks for sharing your Prinsendam cruise with us. I haven't been on her in 8 years, so any pics you care to share will be welcome.

Captain Dag, I think he came over from Seabourne. The Prinsendam may be big to him!

He's not new to the Prinsendam and definitely not a problem. I know he has also sailed Regent ships which are at least as big as the Prinsendam.

Interesting how they do the time change midday. Hadn’t thought of that.

Hope your DH feels better soon. I feel his pain, my DH is not afflicted either but it is no picnic. Thank goodness for,Meclizine, it is a game changer for me.

Hope for calm seas and sunshine!

I’m glad the seas calmed down Jacqui.

All of your photos are wonderful!! Getting excited about our cruise on her!

What type of camera are you using? Finally today our official remodel is done👍 So here in San Diego it is 4:30 on the 7th and I’m just now getting caught up! When you can I’d love to know how the Ocean Bar was and curious on the shops too!

Thanks Jacqui!

Denise:)
