I was informed 4-5 days ago that prepaid excursions paid by credit card become OBC when cancelled even if the cruise is nine months in the future. Desert Cruizers Posted April 29, 2018 #54 Share Posted April 29, 2018 I was surprised to see what I thought was a booking for a cruise in January, and upon having my TA check on it, it turned out to be a future cruise credit going back to 2011 but never used in the amount of $100 This was applied to one of my booked cruises coming up next year. Between Novermber and March, there were lots of extreem bargains on Princess in the caribbean. Pices like $99 for 7 days on Regal. Simply filling the ship may not be a successful business model. I was pointing out that trying to mock the original poster with a claim that "the ship will sail full" is rather meaningless, it the cabins are practically given away. ...regardless of the reason for the poor sales / forced price drop. It is what it is.... But, I have never had a 'rude' rep. If anyone wants to complain about Princess... they should try the other line that we are considering for Europe next year.
