Full payment due a year in advance True? Or not

For the record. This is an old thread and much of the information shared here changed dramatically on November 1, 2018 when Viking did an abrupt about face on its final payment due date. At least on paper, it is no longer possible to ask for and receive a final payment date of 6 months. This is not a new policy for Viking but rather a return to older policy.

 

Perhaps it is time to close this thread and let the conversation continue on threads that are more up-to-date:

No more flexibility on final payment dates?

Viking’s new payment policy is RIDICULOUS( River Cruising but the policy is the same)

Final payment a year in advance of the trip
