Slash8915 Posted May 18, 2018 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2018 Hey everyone. I was looking to book a cruise for January 2019 on the Carnival Vista. I was wondering if Carnival historically had good sales on Memorial Day, or should I not even bother waiting?
RWolver672 Posted May 18, 2018 #2 Share Posted May 18, 2018 It has been my experience that the only time Carnival has good sales is right after you book a cruise. And it always says that you can't use it on an existing booking.

blarko Posted May 18, 2018 #4 Share Posted May 18, 2018 It seems to me that even when they are having the “best sale ever”, the end cost is the same price as if there was no sale. The only difference I notice is the amount of OBC they offer with each sale. If there’s a cruise you’re ready to book, I’d go ahead and book it. KarimaJ Posted May 18, 2018 #5 Share Posted May 18, 2018 I also have me eye on a Breeze cruise Eastern Carib. At $2200 for 3 of us, ouch! Was hoping it would go down but so far the "sales" have given nothing at all.

Just fill out the form and they will adjust the price.
mdsgu Posted May 18, 2018 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2018 Most Carnival "sales" are just a repeat of the previous sale that expired the day before. Occasionally they might throw around a little OBC.
AdGuyMG Posted May 18, 2018 #8 Share Posted May 18, 2018 ??? Carnival has a price protection guarantee on every cruise fare up to final payment date. Just fill out the form and they will adjust the price. If you book Early Saver, that price protection guarantee extends to up to 48 hours before your ship sets sail in the form of OnBoard Spending Credit for he lower price difference.
