Viking berth in Venice

Hi,

Does anyone know where the Viking ships have their berth in Venice?

Is it at the big terminal where the larger ships come in, or the Smaller one on the canal?

It will probably depend on which other ships are in Venice that day, but I do recall reading of a Viking ship at the cruise terminal about a couple of years ago.

 

We were in Venice on our 2015 WC, docking at the cruise terminal. We had a shuttle service from the end of the dock down to St Mark's Square. One day returning to the ship we took the water taxi to the top of Grand Canal and then took the short walk back to the ship.

Have a look on the Venice harbour website. Our cruise embarks in Venice, and I’ve already discovered our berth is Maritima (sp?), which is the one used by larger ships. Been there before and had no problem.
