Car rental vs Uber

We have 4 adults and 2 kids going from FLL to Sunny Isle hotel for 1 night and then to POM for the Allure. Are there rental agencies near POM to drop a rental car that gives free shuttle to the POM? The cost are nearly the same for Uber all the way compared to a rental vehicle but if we want to do anything in the afternoon/eve from the hotel the Uber costs would be more.

National, Alamo, Thrifty and Enterprise offer shuttles between their MIA airport location and POM.

 

Avis, Hertz and others are located in downtown Miami, close to POM and usually offer shuttles; about $12 in a taxi or under $10 in an Uber if you don't want to wait for the next shuttle.
