vettecruiser1 Posted June 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2018 In the past when you sailed out of Texas did the captain keep the ship on Texas time or did he switch in Key West over to Eastern. Having people pick us up and just trying to get a handle on what the Captain has done in the past on this route.
Garth2 Posted June 20, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2018 All Carnival ships that I have been on have stayed 100% on ship's time. Ship's time is the time zone from which you sail, even if it's outside the continental US, and it doesn't change, because it would be too confusing. When we sailed from Galveston in December we stayed on Central time so the port times listed on your itinerary will also be Central time, which is an hour earlier than Eastern time. bury me at sea Posted June 20, 2018 #3 Share Posted June 20, 2018 I have sailed that route on the Breeze. The ship stayed on Central time.
vettecruiser1 Posted June 20, 2018 Author #4 Share Posted June 20, 2018 Thanks for the info. I have been on some and the captain keeps the ship time and other times moves the clock back. Sent from my iPad using Forums
