bingomamma19 Posted June 26, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 26, 2018 What is the email for the casino person to contact before you are sailing to check for comps/drinks from the casino? I had one in the past to use, but it seems the program has changed. Thanks :)

bingomamma19 Posted June 26, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted June 26, 2018 just hit up John Heald, I'm sure he'll have some "brilliant" solutions! Ha ha, not him. There is a casino email you use to find out what you are eligible for in your upcoming cruise.

shotodrag Posted June 26, 2018 #8 Share Posted June 26, 2018 I continue to be completely baffled by how the whole casino perks/points racket works. I only play blackjack at the tables, and this past January on the Inspiration I turned $500 into $1700. I also got the Drinks On Us card, as well as a free bottle of wine and some cookies. My next cruise is in September 2019. Without knowing if I even am eligible for any comps on my next cruise, regardless of when it is, would September 2019 be too far away to be eligible for any comps? Is there a maximum amount of time that can pass before any potential eligibility expires?

We used to get free cruise offers or $100 cruise offers all the time. In the last year it has been mostly premier cruise offers or casino getaway offers. Those prices are not good, but they do come with between 200-500 cash. We also get various comps throughout the cruise of steak dinners, wine, chocolate covered strawberries etc. A few months before our cruise, we usually email the casino club with our booking info and they come back with a DOU card for the start of the cruise and some extra cash for the casino to pick up at the booth. Our last cruise was 2 years ago, so I wasn't sure if the email had changed for them. I did end up emailing casino@carnival.com and received a response that I have a ticket number and they will get back to me.

At least we know they're still responding to that email address. I agree the casino offers posted lately that show to my account (those offers that show online) are not worthy of my attention and I haven't booked them. The only casino offer I received lately that I thought was worthwhile came by email with a very short booking window and limited choices.

Djptcp Posted June 28, 2018 #12 Share Posted June 28, 2018 Since Jan. I have had wonderful bounce back offers from the casino that we have taken, from free to only $50 per person. DH and I did the 4-day overnight Havana cruise with an ocean view cabin for less than $400 with $100 OBC. I have also received the usual Premier cruise offers with the $200-500 casino cash and have several booked for later this year and Jan. 2019. I always contact the oceanplayersclub.com before sailing just to verify my casino cash and DOU.
