Just wondering if anyone has arranged a private scuba dive in New Caledonia or Vanuatu. Our ship arrives at 8am in Noumea, Lifou, Mystery Island, Isle of Pines and Vila but I have had no luck in finding a reputable dive company because they all seem to leave around 7am.

I would recommend that you take your scuba coarse at home. I have been at a lot of places. Third world countries don’t put your personal safety first. Diving is a dangerous sport. If you are well trained you should be fine. By the way I have over 1,000 dives. I could tell you a story how I almost lost my led due to an infection I got from a contaminated wet suit in Hawaii. Good luck
