Foxyj1964 Posted July 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 10, 2018 I went through a TA whom I love. Have been using them for all the cruises that I have been on. Like others I book as a group. All cabins have been paid in full. We are now 85 days out and I still have not been able to print out any boarding passes or luggage tags. I have been trying to find out how long do I have to wait before printing these items. The people in my group are asking for these items and I don't have an answer for them. help

Tiger0613 Posted July 10, 2018 #8 Share Posted July 10, 2018 I have checked everyone in and all cruise contracts have been completed. It is just saying that they are on hold I've never heard that one before. I can't think of any other possibility. These were just the first two things that came to mind. I book all of my cruises directly. My first cruise was in a group booked through a TA, but I was 13. I was just along for the ride.
Foxyj1964 Posted July 10, 2018 Author #9 Share Posted July 10, 2018 This is my tenth cruise and I have always booked through a TA. I usually just keep check but this group is more than ready to get this party started. We are 82 days out and most of them are already packed
RWolver672 Posted July 10, 2018 #10 Share Posted July 10, 2018 Contact your TA as soon as they open today. When you book through a TA, they are the only ones that can straighten it out. Have them call Carnival to find out why you can't print those documents. Under 90 days, you should be able to print everything as long as you have filled out all of the info and have paid in full. winddawn Posted July 10, 2018 #13 Share Posted July 10, 2018 I think Carnival has been making some changes this year. My most recent Carnival booking is a casino offer, and I was told when I booked that my documents would not be available until the week before the cruise. My documents show my booking is on hold. This is the first time Carnival has handled my casino offer booking this way. Even though my booking information online shows my cabin number, my documents show my cabin TBA. beerman2 Posted July 10, 2018 #16 Share Posted July 10, 2018 If I remember right it was about 60 days before we sailed in May that the boarding passes were available to print. I would do as others have mentioned call your TA.

Her thought process is; if she starts now she will realize what she forgot, before we get on the ship. I'm like "hey were is my such'n such shirt and or pants". Now I know to look at the pile she started for the trip......, but I cannot complain because she does do all the packing. Was only one time she forgot; "ALL MY SHIRTS"...LoL I have forgiving her for that:halo:, but I do occasionally remind her about it.

The clothes I wear in my day to day life consist of my sandals, shorts and polos/t-shirts. I don't want to pack them up weeks in advance then not have them to wear. A few hours before we leave when we're catching up laundry I'll get them out of the dryer and toss them in the suitcase.
