Bucs vs. Eagles (Ouch)!

Recommended Posts

You won't be able to choose what they will carry. If it was the Monday or Sunday night game, I'd say you had a good chance, but the daytime Sunday games are whatever they have access to.

Probably just as good if I'm not able to watch (my) Bucs play last years Super Bowl champs.

It's kind of an unusual fix but it's cheap and it works.

Last time I was in Fort Lauderdale on a Sunday and wanted to make sure I saw the Patriots - Miami game. I bought an inexpensive TV Tuner for my laptop. Watched part of the game, recorded the rest on my laptop and watched it later. I'm assuming you don't leave the pier until after 4 PM and the game should be complete.

Tvstick Rtl2832U Fc0012 Dvb-T Usb Digital Tv Tuner (or similar) Not endorsing this one, in particular, just make sure it works before you sail.

The Buc play the Eagles at 1PM on Fox TV -- at home in Tampa on 16 September 18. Will we get the local Fox affiliate in the Cabin early Sunday afternoon before we sail?

Not in your cabin, but it may be shown in the Casino or some of the bars. Fox is not part of the TV line up, however, Fox News Network is in the line up on most ships.

Ps. Don't know what arrangements ESPN has as you may be able to see a repeat in your cabin the next day, as they do with the Super Bowl..

RCI has not captured a local channel that I can remember.

Last time we were in the Caribbean the ship had 2 1PM games and 2 4PM games. Games are shown in place of the 2 ESPN channels in any Pub or your cabin. How they choose the games is a complete mystery (at least to me). :cool:Could be FOX or CBS.

I general I have noticed they usually broadcast the network that has the national game at 4:30.

4-1 odds you will see your game.

If not, at Port C., I will be able to hear the cheering from the Tampa stadium.

This is the question I have with the ships that have Playmakers sports bar. Do they have some kind of package similar to Direct TV's NFL package? Or is there at least the guarantee that at least one game will be shown in each time slot?

I've seen no guarantees.

If anything it may be shown on ESPN at bars or casinos, as I've never seen a network channel in their line up.
