Time to go from Fredericksted to Christiansted???

Half an hour drive time. Maybe 45 minutes in a taxi if they make a couple stops.

At the end of the pier, there was a shuttle to Christiansted for $16 round trip per person when we were there in 2015.

Does anyone know if the shuttle still runs and the cost or is the best way a taxi and what the going fare is? Looking to go to Christiansted and just walking around for a few hours in Nov while we are there.

Shuttle = Taxi. They are all the same, just find one headed the way you want to go and jump on. It's about $24 now though, you might be able to find one cheaper.

Is it 24$ per person or 2 people...the taxi rate chart I found online isn't clear?

$24 should cover 2 people, but you may be able to negotiate with the driver if you have a group.

Some taxis are cheaper than others, that's about it.

Are any of the taxis wheelchair accessible? We have done everything possible around the port until we had hit what would normally be called unsafe areas for tourists. It would be nice to go over to the other major city for exploring.

Yeah there's a few, you'll probably want to make advanced arrangements by calling the taxi association.
