Xcambo excursion? What can you tell me

I have been to Chichen Itza, and Uxmal (which I loved) but Carnival has a new excursion to Xcambo, xcampa?and a village, and then to a private home for lunch, beach and pool. Has anyone done this? DH is now mobility challenged, and I want to know how much walking there will be when we get there.
