Treats for Tom and Sally

We will be visiting in June and can hardly wait. Have really enjoyed the informative posts. What treats do you miss that we can bring from the U.S?

I can't speak for Tom (I think he wants a 52" plasma screen tv!) ... but I have begun collecting essential oils, which of course I can't get here. So far I have cinnamon, vanilla, sandalwood, lavender, and jasmine. Any others would be just wonderful! A tiny bottle of 100% essential oil is better than a larger bottle of oil that is not 100% essential.

Many thanks for thinking of us here on our small and sometimes understocked island!

Hello we are coming in June and have a few questions for you. How do I get to Paradise Beach? How much will it cost? Is there some shade for the mom? Last question Is it safe to get there being that it is a mom and 2 daughters-16 and 20? Thanks for your help to make this trip a memory for my girls

Taxi fare will run you $12 or $13USD depending on which pier you are coming from. Lots of shade for Mom, we have umrellas, palm trees, and open air palapas (tiki huts) where she can hide under! Very safe, our clientele is almost exclusively cruisers, so don't worry!! I would suggest browsing the other threads about us to put your mind at ease...see you soon!

What do you use the essential oils for? Candlemaking? Apparently there are different kinds?

I use them in a diffuser. I am also a massage therapist, working out of my home when I'm not at the minigolf. The essential oils add the perfect background of aromatherapy to my massages.

Sally, i hope you have been enjoying the lavendar/vanilla oil I brought you on the 27th. I was told it is a very relaxing scent. It was a pleasure meeting you and it was fun playing on your course. I especially loved when the iguanas walked slowly across one of the putting areas. I must say that was a first! I now have some great pix to show off! We certainly would luv to come visit again. Keep up the good work!
