Carnival Imagination 8/30 3 day Live

Whoooo wants a live thread of the 3 day Carnival Imagination crusie? Sike, I really don't care so you all are getting one.

 

I had to upgrade from the Social plan to post photos but I probably needed to anyways so I could hear from the vet if they needed to contact me about my kitty doing medical boarding anyways.

 

So. I left Las Vegas about 8:30 on Jet Blue to Long Beach. It was a short flight and even shorter Lyft ride. I got there about 10:00 and they started boarding the special events at 11:15am. My group 2 was called about 11:30 and I had my first drink in hand a few minutes after.

 

I then grabbed a Guy's burger (there is a patty under there) to go with my spicy Margarita.

 

 

 

After a Hendricks and tonic and wandering on the sphinx titty filled deck 9 I went back up to 10 for more drinks, a Ting Mojito and then a Dirty Mojito.

My room is R141 right of the midship elevators and a sideways room. It has a pole, but it's a square pole so as Doug and I joked, it would make a fwippty fippty sound if you tried to pole dance.

Crap, forgot to grab my dollar bills for tips as I headed to Alchemy Bar. That's okay 'cause I'll add a tip to my bill since they charge for sales tax in Long Beach.

Oh, I should probably introduce myself since I've only posted on the Carnival board once. I'm Kirsten, my very first cruise was the 3 day on the Carnival Inspiration and then I tried the NCL Haven on what was to be an anniversary cruise (I'm now divorced) and have stuck with NCL until now.

 

I needed something before my December MSC cruise with me mum so here I am on Imagination. If you're interested in NCL, check out my reviews in my signature.

Man, I don't know what everyone is crying about with no table cloths, looks fine to me.

 

 

The MDR menu looked good so I'm dining here tonight. The Italian drink comes with a bottle of Pellegrino which I love.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I ordered the shrimp cocktail, duck potstickers, and crispy portabella.

Dinner was very good. The crispy portabella and tiramisu for dessert got two thumbs up even if I couldn't eat it all. I chose evening service even though I could have chosen both and I had a towel animal in my cabin when I brought my fizzy water back. Along with the next day's fun times.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now I'm debating bed or karaoke. The latter is sounding better since there are noisy people in the hall.

Does your cabin have a fake window with curtains???? I am trying to find the measurements for the space behind the curtains of the fake window as I want to surprise my friend with a poster of our rear aft balcony wake/water view from our recent cruise on the Glory. Even a rough estimate will work.
