need2cruisesoon Posted August 31, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 31, 2018 I'm looking to take my girlfriend (59) me (58) and my son and his friend (17) on a Caribbean Cruise either next March or April. We have 7 days and would like to sail out of Ft lauderdale or Miami. This will be my first cruise in the Caribbean along with my son and his friend, any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks,
Krazy Kruizers Posted August 31, 2018 #2 Share Posted August 31, 2018 What are you more interested in? Shopping? Exploring the port and learning about it? Snorkling?
The Viking Posted August 31, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 31, 2018 With 2 teens Ithink an Oasis Class ship will give them plenty to do while on board.

Thanks, It really depends on what you like? Lots of beach time - look Eastern Caribbean and hit the islands Diving or snorkeling - either east or west History - Western (Mayan ruins - Mexico) Casual - look at Carnival or Norwegian Mid range - Princess or Royal Caribbean More up scale - Holland America, Viking, Celebrity Good food - Celebrity, HAL, Carnival Each ship/line will offer excursions. They are usually more expensive than using a private company Before anyone else jumps in - these are my preferences, based on 30+ cruises - to each his/her own!!
