nautica34 Posted September 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2018 I reserved one of shows for my November cruise. I selected the date and time, however, the reservation doesn't show either piece of information. I've read from others that the date and time aren't confirmed until embarkation day and also read that the day and time selected is is the actual day and time. Can anyone that's sailed recently confirm this? Thanks
hobunny Posted September 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2018 Hi I wasn’t aware that you could book for this show in advance but I will most certainly check it out now We are sailing at the beginning of October and would be interested in any feedback that you get on this subject. skt4cruise Posted September 6, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2018 We were on the Meraviglia in August and we purchased tickets online for drink & show but could not pick the date or time until onboard.
vino123 Posted September 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2018 I did the same. I picked the date and time and my reservation doesn't show either of them. What's the point of allowing you to choose if that's not the case? Sent from my SM-J700F using Forums mobile app

The other show, Viaggio, I booked on line and couldn't book a date and time , even over the phone, the booking staff told me they had no access to that part of the system Pete

Since I won't knoshows dinning time until embarkation day, make it tough to choose which time and don't want to miss the regular evening show. W didn't get the day we wanted as there was no show of Sonor on that day, so we had to book another day. Pete
Ajnp Posted September 13, 2018 #9 Share Posted September 13, 2018 We booked drink and show before we boarded. Couldn't book the show until we got on board. We really enjoyed theSonor performance.
CruisingFox27 Posted September 13, 2018 #10 Share Posted September 13, 2018 We are looking into booking for our sailing next year, what time are the shows and how long are they?
SquishTheWhale Posted September 14, 2018 #11 Share Posted September 14, 2018 Ours was the same as above, booked online but you had to go to the box office once on board to confirm date and time. Go early as there was almost no choice when we went. If you think you might want to see both shows then book both in advance as it's cheaper than booking on board. CCJack Posted September 16, 2018 #12 Share Posted September 16, 2018 I had called MSC over the phone, and reserved show and drink. They did ask me the date I wanted, however, it sounds as if that really doesn't mean anything based on other posts.... Our Cruise is December 2018. tkilrainrn Posted October 8, 2018 #13 Share Posted October 8, 2018 do you have to prepay or just make the reservations ahead of time?
Ajnp Posted October 8, 2018 #14 Share Posted October 8, 2018 We are looking into booking for our sailing next year, what time are the shows and how long are they? I'm going to say about 7.45pm? cant remember exactly but we went to dinner MDR afterwards. But you need to grab a pre drink from the casino bar and wait in line for the best seats. Its first in best dressed. I do remember waiting 45mins (drink in hand) to be 5th in line.
phissy Posted October 9, 2018 #15 Share Posted October 9, 2018 do you have to prepay or just make the reservations ahead of time? We were charged for our reservations, hoping to straighten this out once onboard. We were given dinner and show as part of booking Meraviglia next spring. This was the only way I could get a day reserved.
