rockmom Posted September 6, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2018 Still 'regular' prices for dining and drink packages for my sailing. I check pretty much daily but since I still have quite a few months to go I'm hopeful that eventually I'll log in and there will be a drop. Such a game. ;p:rolleyes:

I think that is the cheapest I have seen, anyone know if this is a good price?Thank you Yes I have been watching for my LOS cruise in Oct. It was usually $26 but when it dropped to $18 I booked it. I haven't seen it drop any lower since then. If you want it grab it. I doubt it will be cheaper.

lake show cruiser Posted September 6, 2018 #11 Share Posted September 6, 2018 There is a $22 service charge added to the price......Do they always add a 10% service charge???
rockmom Posted September 7, 2018 #12 Share Posted September 7, 2018 There is a $22 service charge added to the price......Do they always add a 10% service charge??? They normally add the 18% gratuity on all beverage packages. So more than 10%.
gnr25 Posted September 7, 2018 #13 Share Posted September 7, 2018 Did Royal also get rid of Soda Packages? It is not listed among the beverage packages for my December cruise. Would they really rather people bring their own soft drinks and spend less money buying drinks from Royal? It seems weird. Bringing 12 coke cans and then buying a few from Royal after your own supply runs out, means RCI gets less money.

Keep checking.

Merion_Mom Posted September 7, 2018 #17 Share Posted September 7, 2018 Omg...first time I’ve seen the 3 night dining package on sale. The usual price is $21 per night, right? Right now on my next cruise, the 3 night package is cheaper (per night) than the 4 night. The 5 night package is cheaper (per night) than the 4 night. Odd odd odd odd. And the Deluxe Beverage package is $39 and DBP + Voom (1 device) is $49.
lake show cruiser Posted September 7, 2018 #18 Share Posted September 7, 2018 I just check my HOS cruise.....Deluxe Bev Package + Voom is $59.
timf2001 Posted September 7, 2018 #19 Share Posted September 7, 2018 I'm seeing $72 for 3 night dining and $110 for 4 night dining (regular price), with no 5 night package currently. Interestingly, RCI sent me an email today advertising the prices as $85 for 3 nights, $100 for 4 nights, and $115 for 5 nights.
nwcruiselover Posted September 7, 2018 #20 Share Posted September 7, 2018 I just bought the Voom package for my November cruise for $9.99 per day. That's the lowest price I have seen for Voom.
HOSKI Posted September 7, 2018 #21 Share Posted September 7, 2018 We currently have two cruises booked and the prices of the beverage are being offered at very different prices. Sales seem to be cruise specific.
NanaP1398 Posted September 7, 2018 #22 Share Posted September 7, 2018 We are on Adventure in Feb 2019. Deluxe has been $48pp. Just dropped to $45! Sold! Of course it was the one pkg that didn't have a "sale" banner on it. Will keep watching it!
CruisingNole Posted September 7, 2018 #23 Share Posted September 7, 2018 I'm seeing $72pp for 3 night specialty dining on Oasis. Is that a "deal" or is that normal price? I've never really checked the dining packages.

CruisingNole Posted September 7, 2018 #25 Share Posted September 7, 2018 Normal. Thank you. That being said...is it "worth it" (in your opinion) for 3 meals at that price vs MDR?
