Maasdam internet prices for French Polynesia?

I know this has been discussed before; however did the Maasdam get an internet upgrade in dry dock?

..... and what is the cost for 14 days? DH is worried he will not be reading his daily newspaper. Thanks so much.

This was posted on another thread for the current ms Maasdam cruise by a passenger, so their internet does work.

14 days with the middle package was $169 on the Rotterdam last week.

Several years ago, we were on Statendam for 28 days (San Diego/Hawaii/French Polynesia) and the only time that the internet was bad was in the middle of the ocean after Nuku Hiva and San Diego. The printed NYTimes was distributed every day, even though internet connection was iffy. That was in 2013 and a lot has changed since then. Things have improved.

Yes.  And we did the Premium unlimited internet package from South America through French Polynesia and it worked well for us except around Easter Island where there was an antenna positioning problem.  Both of us used the internet with one logon.

Maasdam: While on board ( Polyhnesia Idyll ) ,I was offered 20$ for 3 days of surfing, log in from both phones and macs. This was offered on line once I commited to paying for 1 day for 15$. I was surprised and took it. It was pretty slow but still okay.
