Hunte Gardens and Pebbles Beach Questions

We will be in Barbados from 10am to 6pm. We would like to go to Pebbles Beach for a few hours in the morning, eat lunch at Cuz Fish Shack and then go to Hunte's Gardens. My questions are:

 

1. Is there a bus that goes from the cruise port to Pebbles Beach or should we take a taxi? What would be the cost of either of those options.

 

2. To go to the gardens from Bridgetown we would take the #5 bus from Fairchild Street Bus Stand. Is that close to the cruise port?

I believe that Huntes Gardens is very difficult to get to by bus. You should hire a driver. But it is absolutely gorgeous there so totally worth the money.

I'm curious why you say it would be difficult to get there by bus? Their website gives the instructions to take the #5 bus there.

We hired “Skinny Carson” (Taxi / Tour service) for the day as we wanted to go to Hunte’s Gardens and Andromeda Botanic Gardens.   We shared the ride (and cost) with another couple from our roll call.   Carson was amazing!!!
