Walk to Acadia National Park From Tender drop off

Thank you. Important information indeed. I wound up choosing the Acadia tours as it is less expensive than my ship excursion options.

 

You're welcome. I was very disappointed to learn this myself, as I love strolling and/or hiking in these types of places, and the tours don't really allow it. Still, I think the tour will be fun.

We didn’t make it in this time . Port closed due to fog and poor weather so tendering wouldn’t be safe.

Kirsty, so sorry that you missed Bar Harbor. Did you miss any other ports? Our cruise was earlier than yours (departed around Labor Day) or maybe we were just lucky to have good weather for the NE portion of our NE-Canada cruise.

No just the tender port. Weather was a bit miserable throughout except the last sea day but I don’t travel for the weather! I know tendering often is a 50:50 chance and i didn’t mind another sea day as I love sea days... I will just have to return another time!!!
