I've seen people mention Tap-a- talk but I don't know what it is.

 

 

 

For a lack of better description, it’s basically a message board app where you can connect your accounts on various message board forums (CC and others) and all your subscriptions will show up in your notifications feed. I only use the app for CC, but it is very convenient and you never miss anything because all your notifications live in one place! I have it on iOS, and I believe it was free on the App Store.

I like Tapatalk because it only shows the CC threads I’m subscribed to and there is a notification (silent) when a new post happens. It always goes to the last post I haven’t read in a thread. And photos, oh my, piece of cake. You can upload from your phone or tablet with one stroke. Here’s Jazz on Four on Symphony, just as an example. 9118985ef557b4f7ca066c0430e5f6f8.jpg

Want to make sure I am understanding the list. The first Captain listed is the current Captain and the second listed is next up on the rotation?

Correct, and the rotation normally lasts 10 weeks.

Checking on Radiances Captain for December and I am a bit confused as Capt Trym Selvag is listed as being the next Captian on both the Radiance and the Jewel.He can't be on both ships in Decemberso who will it be on the Radiance?

If I’m going on Liberty, I’m hoping Captain James is onboard. He’s friendly and knows me on sight, and he will be visible onboard.

 

I can definitely agree with this. Captain James was our first Captain back on Jewel and combined with him, HD Robert Taggart and CD Joff, the Jewel felt like such a happy ship.

 

Was considering LB for next year and counted the rotations. Saw that he won't be there next July so I'll do something else instead. I trust all Captains to keep me safe, but there are some that I prefer over others. That's my 2 cents.

trust me, its my mistake. I have to manually change some and I forget to catch them all. The captains eventually for Radiance will be Espen Been and Marek Slaby.

Came across more subdued than I expected but is very funny and hosts a very fascinating Captain's Corner session rather than canned jokes like some of the others (not mentioning any names).

We sailed with him on our Transpacific cruise last year. He is a real character and very approachable.
