I had May 3 as a rotation date and Capt Ervin could simply be the stf cpt operating as master if neither Capt Huimin nor Capt Thordor could get back with the borders closed

ok, upon reading the article it appears Capt Ervin signed on instead of Capt Thordor.

I saw on You Tube a video made by Captain Loy and  other officers and crew about taking them home to India.

So I do not think Capt Loy left the ship yet or at least not until June 6th when it left Mumbai after docking for 2-3 days. Was a short visit.  Now Anthem is coming and the two ships will miss each other so no photo Op.

 

Ovation is now heading back to Singapore. 

Also the Radiance has been hanging out in Singapore for almost 2 months.  I think most of the pacific ships have not rotated anyone off yet for Officers. Just a guess

Yes - he has a two week quarantine onboard before he presumably takes over. Glad for both him and Captain Gus (who has been on since March - a hellishly long contract).

I follow him on Twitter and yeah I was surprised yesterday to see he is back on Harmony. He was gold putting while he quarantined.
