Beaches near Split port

Is anybody familiar with beaches around the Split (Croatia) port?

There's a beach (with bars & such) over the little headland from where ships berth.

A walk of 10 - 15 mins depending exactly where you berth.

Up the incline from the waterfront roundabout (traffic island), cross the rail bridge, then take the steps down on your right

Kasjuni on the marjan peninsula is lovely..prob 10mins in a taxi..beach/bar/toilets
