Roatanfans Posted September 26, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 26, 2018 We recently got back from a Mediterranean cruise. It was not our first and we had previously spent a week exploring Rome and did not feel like traveling for 1 1/2 hours each way for a 9 hour port stop to try to cram it all in. This trip we decided to take a cooking class in Civitavecchia- it was a great time! We loved it and learned how to make tiramisu, Bolognese sauce, saltimbocca, eggplant parmesan and gnocchi. At the end we got to eat an amazing lunch, and now we have cooked some of these things at home.

Palms2Pines2Sea Posted September 27, 2018 #5 Share Posted September 27, 2018 https://www.yelp.com/biz/cooking-class-civitavecchia-civitavecchia I'm not the OP, but the menu that they prepared sounds like the one done by Chef Federico at AQUA PIZZERIA RISTORANTE. Friends went and found it very enjoyable.

Included wine, soda, etc. That sounds pretty reasonable for the whole thing. Will bear it in mind for our next visit.
CYNSport Posted September 30, 2018 #11 Share Posted September 30, 2018 That sounds pretty reasonable for the whole thing. Will bear it in mind for our next visit. We felt it was well worth it. Also includes pick up and return to the meeting point where the port shuttle lets you off.
