dinkydee718 Posted September 28, 2018 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2018 Has anyone been on NCL Baltic cruise mid to late August? Would you recommend it? Is the weather decent then? Thinking of booking the 9-day on Getaway for the summer but would love to hear others’ experiences.
Rare KeithJenner Posted September 28, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2018 The weather is generally pretty good in the Baltic’s in August, but it is all relative. It can vary quite a bit though. There is always the possibility of some rain, and even the warmer days are usually not really hot. Expect it to be quite a bit cooler than most cruise destinations, but usually nothing that a jacket can deal with.

It was pretty cold in some places. But the ports were not as crowded. So, there are always trade offs. Beautiful though. Trip of a lifetime. kenrod Posted September 30, 2018 #4 Share Posted September 30, 2018 We were in the Baltics from August 18 to 27th on the Breakaway. The majority of the time we had great weather. It rained in the afternoon in Copenhagen a day before the cruise, but the temperature was hot. Berlin was sunny and hot. We had rain in the afternoon of our sea day, and it was a little cool. For the rest of the trip, it was sunny (overcast one day in St. Petersburg) and it was cool. It was raining in Copenhagen when we returned. There were some windy days throughout as well. Definitely bring a jacket with you.
