land tour cancellation

Has anyone heard anything about the Land portion of the alaskan cruises being cancelled ? I got a call from them yesterday about the cancellation . Our cruise was June 2019 on the jewel. I checked the NCL site and their alaska cruises are very limited.

Was it supposed to be before or after your cruise? I don’t know anything about them cancelling but we went to Alaska last year and did our own land tour. I know it’s more work but you can plan extra time before or after your cruise and do the things your group wants to do.

I just took a look at the ncl website and there are still cruisetours listed

for Jewel sail dates 6/3/19 and 6/17/19 with tours after. There is an 11 day,

12 day, and 14 day option available for booking. Is yours one of those?

That's pretty upsetting that a cruisetour that's still available for booking on

their website has been cancelled. I'm also interested in summer 2019

cruise tours on the jewel, so please let us know what you find out.

Do yourself a big favor and see and do way more by simply going independent. A rental car is a way superior choice for Alaska. Group point to point is very limited. There are way more options.

Did you work with any Alaskan Tour Operator to help you with your DIY land tour and if so would you recommend them?
