Southampton luggage storage in the week before the cruise

We'd like to take the train to London for a few days before our TA from Southampton and don't want to take our formalwear and excess luggage to London if we don't have to. Does anyone know of a place to store 2 suitcases for 5 days? Can I check the luggage in early? Any suggestions welcome.

We have stored luggage with Cunard in between transatlantics in Southampton. I'm not sure what your circumstances are. Are you arriving by ship?

 

It's not cheap but it's very convenient . Your luggage is waiting for you in your stateroom when you return.

Yes, there is a very handy place for storage , not too far from the Southampton cruise terminals.

A five minute taxi ride along the dock road, "Lok'n Store" is just past Ikea on the opposite side of the road.

Anyone familiar with the current price for leaving the luggage with Cunard?    Searching the Cunard Board, as late as 2014 you could leave luggage for up to 30 days for $65 (leave the luggage outside your room on the last night with a special tag from the Purser and the luggage will arrive at your new cabin for the return cruise after spending time in a Carnival storage facility.    Haven't seen a later post on this and even as early as 2009 there was conflicting information on the price (have read as much as $100/bag).    Would appreciate anyone with current info.    Thanks.

There are some Daily Programmes from an Eastbound TA in 2016 in the Welcome sticky, they mention luggage storage in Southampton for $65 per bag for up to 30 days.

That's the same price mentioned in our daily programmes for the June 10-17, 2018 eastbound crossing. Here is how it was worded for that crossing.

 

Luggage Storage in Southampton.

Guests who wish to store their luggage prior to their return voyage in the future may do so with the ‘Luggage Concierge’ in Southampton. Please register at the Purser’s Office. The deadline to sign up is 12.00pm on Wednesday, 13 June 2018. The cost of the service is $65 per bag for up to 30 days and an additional $30 per bag for the next 30 days. This will be charged to your on board account. Bags must be collected in the terminal ashore from the baggage hall and dropped off with the Luggage Concierge Representative after exiting customs.

When they charge your shipboard account, was it to the ship where your bag is being collected or was it to the ship that will your luggage is for on the way home?    Hopefully it's the first ship as we have more ship board credit on that one.    Again, thanks for all the answers.
