Can I have any advice please on what clothes are needed for evenings. Would evening trousers and smart tops be enough, or do I need to pack cocktail dresses, or evening dresses? TIA

It's been a couple of years since I was on Horizon, but as I recall, smart casual is fine.  However, I personally recommend that you bring a few nice cocktail dresses just for general principle.

Evening trousers and smart casual tops are enough IMHO.

They did have a white night party on a Caribbean cruise that we did in March, but I really don’t know if this is done in Europe or Middle East.

Thanks, I have been and come back from my cruise in the Med on Zenith, and there were several theme nights during the week.  We had a Tropical Night, a White Night and a Black and Red night, as well as the Gala Night and the majority for passengers did dress up.

We are on the Zenith in January in the Canary islands. First time in pullmantur. For gala on msc (which is also mostly Mediterranean passengers)i usually take a tux as it takes no more space than a lounge suit. Would this be out of place?
