New changes coming to Cruise Critic tomorrow October 9

I just read the announcemnt at the top of the page today.

Looks like change is happeing.

Tomorrow we can only read the forums ,not post ,until they have everything in place?

I do like that we will be able to do a "like " to a post!

What will be the impact on those of us who typically use the mobile vice browser interface? Frankly, if they improved the browser version I'd use it. I just can't stand it.

It was managed so poorly the last time they did it and don't expect this upgrade experience to be any better. I hope they prove me wrong.

Well, folks, looks like we made it to the other side.

I think I am going to miss the expandable signatures and the legible type face of the old version--among other features. I will figure out how to globally turn off notifications; they drive me nuts. And as long as I get my nightly batch of e-mails from the threads I am subscribed to, I won't yell too much..

Well it is good to see  Cruise Critic back up and running. 

I see we now have a way to send messages to others , and a button to say "Like and thanks"

Still exploring the new site.

Working off a mobile phone using safari I find the new interface stinks.IMHO.

The announcement they will be providing  a new streamlined mobile app which is then linked (via an asterisk) to a line that says the mobile app will be killed makes no sense. 

Color me unhappy.
