If we find lower priced drink package when we used OBC for original purchase

Please forgive me if I missed this answer from archives.

DH and I purchased Deluxe Drink Package on Vision (February 2019) for $47/day.  $250 of that was paid with OBC.

Say, we see it for $45 between now and cruise time. If we cancel and re-purchase the deluxe drink package, could we still use the $250 OBC? From what I have read, it seems it would take a few days for OBC to be re-credited. Might make more sense for me to stop looking for a drop in drink package price if there is a chance we could not use the OBC immediately with that lower price. The lower price might well disappear before the OBC is again available for us to use.

Hope my question makes sense.

I’ve cancelled items purchased with OBC and the OBC was returned to my account immediately. As soon as I cancelled I was able to repurchase.
