The flight was uneventful.  We flew over sunny Orlando.

And landed in wet and cold Detroit, but 30 minutes early.

Had to take a picture of this in DTW.  Whoever made these sign either laughed or were oblivious to the double entendre.  Lisa actually snorted when she saw it.

Whatever the case, there was a of caulking going on today.

Well that sure went fast!

Another great review as always.  Can’t wait to follow again in January.

It is currently snowing in Ottawa South and slowly turning to freezing rain - yuk!

thanks to both of you for sharing your vacation with us.

P.S videos worked great, thanks.

One more thing, my good friend retired Friday and her husband surprised her last night with a Mustang GT.  Sounds awesome.  She got to drive it to the storage unit and won’t see it again until April.  I will tell them about the Hot Rod tour.

Not quite a GT, but fun year round down here.

Pretty sure Andrew won't mind

That is a beauty (the car too).  A few more years I hope my hubby takes the hint and gets me a nice topless retirement gift!  And hopefully we will be touring down there from  Jan -April.  Sooner would be better though, I am looking out at a snow covered field and lawn and it’s still October.  😢

John, I am positive Andrew doesn’t mind.

Thanks

Final thoughts...

How did I find using the New CC for the live review?

After the first few days it got easier as it became more familiar.  How did my attachment quota survive?  I didn’t hold off on posting pics, but I also didn’t save Compasses either. Selfishly I’m saving my quota for what I want to post VS what might help others.

At the end end of the review I have used 10% of my attachment limits. Looks like I get to do 9 more reviews under the new format.

Was it the videos?  You can sort the attachments by size to verify.  46 MB is a ton of compressed pics.  I'm still less than half of that.  my 20 second video of Bell ate up 9 MB, I had it deleted. It wasn't special like yours were.

We did learn a little something more about the dog collar couple, from our dinner mates at Hibachi. Our Hibachi dinner mates were dining in the MDR the night previous and they had the opportunity to see them.

The lady in command of the leash had her ESA crawl in, on all fours, from the dining room entrance to their table.  It was seen by all. Shortly thereafter they were escorted out of the MDR.  That would be why we saw them getting takeout at JR.

I’m glad to see that RC is taking a stronger stance on Emotional Support Animals. 😉

It wouldn’t have been the videos, they were imbedded links from FB. Just photos from what I can tell, and all the extra double posted ones at the beginning maybe get had added to it. 🤔

So that pretty much wraps up this review.

Thanks to all that followed along and joined us. If you are a silent follower or frequent poster thanks for taking the ride. We all got to see some interesting things this go around.  Some that I have never seen on board a ship.

So when can we do this again?  Mark January 27th of 2019 on your calendar.  91 days till boarding, 90 days to fly day.  We board Allure out of MIA, so we won’t be MIA for too long.

See you all in a while.

I forgot to add one other item about our Master and obedient collared support animal. As they were entering the MDR there was another “cruiser” giving discipline, in the form of a leather riding crop and switch.

We saw the same discipline woman that night but didn’t realize the connection to our “main characters”.  I saw the crop from the distance, but had thought it was a selfie stick.  That was until we found out other the information.

The real funny thing; I mentioned to Lisa that, “I thought that her pink purse didn’t go with her red outfit”.  I know somewhere in my years of marriage and dating, that I learned something about fashion.  Thankfully I didn’t question the lady in red, as I might have had other parts on me more swollen than my feet.

The look of surprise on the oncoming crew member is rather funny.

We spotted her again in the RP, along with another friend wearing a mask.

Someone has to have videos or pictures. I have to think at some point in the coming weeks more people come forward with what they witnessed now that the cruise is over. Am sure there were more things during that week. 😀

Supposedly the individual lost a bet, but I not buying that story.

Edit to add, I agree some good stuff should be coming.

We have chatted about it.

In theory it seems like a great idea but in reality I don’t think it would be great value for us. It would be nice to meet people who we have met online though.

However when the ship has portions closed off to others, such as the Visa party to which we can’t get in Canada, we would not be able to go to that party.  The idea of paying a higher price to have less access for the week doesn’t jive in my thinking, especially if we have booked a suite. The special musical entertainers don’t do anything for more me as well.

It leaves us in the position of paying more, to sail with less access to what is regularly available.

That being said aid if we had already booked a cruise and it turned into the Presidents cruise there’s a good chance we might keep it.

Pricing is insane now anyway.
