Trying to book on a sold out cruise!!!

Hi my my sister is having a wedding cruise on nov4-11 on carnival magic. My brother tried booking last week and was told by carnival it was sold out and he could get put on a waiting list, he would need to put the 500$ down payment down and they would let him know if anything came up. Also that he was at the top of the list and being almost a month out should be in luck. My sister connected his reservation number to her cruise advisor to add to our group   Is there anything else I can do or he can other then crossing his fingers? Thanks for any help.

Is your sister having a TA or wedding coordinator handling all the arrangements for the wedding.  She should check w them.

She is and has talked to her, she had already released any unused reservations. And yes I agree with you for him waiting so last minute. Just hoping to exhaust any possible options.

is he  wanting  to share a cabin with others  or booking  his own cabin?

He will have to see if anyone one cancels  their cruise maybe even the last day it can happen

Even though the person is on a waiting list, I would check the website early each morning to see if any cabins show available.
