Hawaii specialties during Christmas Week?

We're on the Grand Princess for the Holiday Cruise and will call in the islands during the week between Christmas and New Years. We've been there a number of times and wonder what there might be that is unique during that period - from decorations (stores, hotels?) to  exhibits, activities, etc. Anything particularly Hawaiian (besides all the extra visitors there for the holidays 😉

Thanks.  Kathy

You can expect lots of poinsettias. Signs saying "Merry Christmas" in Hawaiian. 80 to 90% of everything will be open on Christmas. It will be the warmest Christmas  weather you have ever experienced.

Otherwise, perhaps a little lower key Christmas.

Kalakaua Blvd through Waikiki is always special and the Christmas decorations in Halekulani, the Royal Hawaiian and Moana Surfrider are always great.

Ala Moana Center and the International Market Place do a nice job as well.

I might even venture out to Disney's Aulani for lunch to see their displays.
