No one got my postcards from Quebec :(

11day Gem cruise from NYC to Quebec in Sept 2018.
 

i bought 3 postcards, went to the post office, paid whatever the person behind the counter said was the price to mail them to the USA.

this was in mid-sept.

it is now mid-oct and no one has received them yet. (2 in NY, 1 in VA)

 

From past cruises, there were postcards mailed from 3rd world countries that never arrived.

but this is Canada.

Wow I'm really surprised a month is a long time to wait, even for postcards. They usually take much longer than regular mail but that is crazy. Maybe all that pot the Canadians are ordering is jamming up the mail system.

Maybe the mailman was thinking cannabis was already legal in Canada and was too relaxed to process.

Our Canada Post union has been threatening strike action for months now & has just started doing rotating strike action.  We've been living with the threat of this for quite a while; so maybe this is what has affected your postcards being delayed:-(  And speaking as a true Canadian...I am sorry:-)
