Need suggestions

My husband and I will be in Cozumel next week. We'll be docked at the International Pier. Are there tour operators available at the cruise terminal? Are there any attractions we can walk to? Thanks!!

There are shops and a couple of bars at the pier.

 

You can easily (subjective) walk to AI pass at El Cid or Park Royal, or Carnival port of Puerta Maya. A little further Discover Mexico, several bars towards town, planetarium and considerably further, downtown.

 

There will be numerous taxis at dispatch to take you wherever you want. There will be some vendors outside the pier. 

 

It would be helpful if you would say what type of activity you are interested in, so people can make more useful suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestions! We like the beach if it's a quiet spot. We're pretty low key. Also, we enjoy being active, especially getting out of town and being in nature.

We always take a taxi to downtown.  Only around $7 each way.  Lots of shops and authentic Mexican restaurants.  This next time though we are going to Playa Mia Grand Beach Resort.

Lots of beach clubs to choose from and most are lined up next to each other along the same side of the island so the sand and water quality will be similar.  Among the popular choices are Mr. Sanchos and Nachi Cocom for all-inclusive (food/drinks), or Paradise Beach (pay as you go).  All three will be about $17 each way in a taxi.

 

Closer, with no real beach, but good snorkeling from the shore is the Money Bar - about $12 each way in a cab.

 

Do some homework here and on Trip Advisor and then choose the beach club that meets your desires.  Have a great cruise!
