advice on New Orleans to Memphis Thanksgiving voyage

Any general advice/input on the American Queen Thanksgiving itinerary Nov 18-26 from New Orleans to Memphis?  Ports are:

 

Nottoway, LA

St. Francisville, LA

Natchez, KS

Vicksburg, KS

Greenville, KS

 

Is this a good itinerary in terms of scenery and architecture?  Typical weather that time of the year?

 

I have done a lot of ocean cruising but never river ones.  Just started researching this company.

 

Also, any info/feedback on the vegetarian or vegan food choices would be appreciated.  Thanks.

My wife and I did this itinerary this time last year though in the opposite direction but with the same stops.

The only item I cannot comment on is the Vegan food being a carnivore by nature.
