Batik cost

We are visiting st. Kitts in December and I’m interested in purchasing some batik goods as gifts.   Can anyone give me an idea of the cost?   Planning my cruise budget.  Appreciate it.

They have many Batik items for sale. The prices will vary with the purchase. They have everything from a small wallet to wall hangings & clothing for men, women & children. I would guess from $15- $20 US and up to over $100 US. There is the shop at Romney Manor & at Port Zante.

I would also caution you to be clear on where the items you may purchased were actually produced. The locally made items are quite expensive (hundreds of dollars), while there are also more mass-market items available cheaply, but these may not be locally made (i.e., made in China, etc.). If you are looking for the authentic, locally made pieces, expect to pay a good price for them as you would with any handcrafted, time-consuming item.
