Is Club Class Dining the same as Anytime Dining with a full suite?

We are currently booked for Anytime Dining. Since we are in a full suite, will we automatically be assigned to the Club Class Dining Room? If not, what do I need to do to have Club Class dining on our cruise?  Thanks

You just have to show up. Its automatic when you choose AT dining.

They will have a list of cabins.  🙂

You don't need to do anything. Just go to the Club Class dining area, they will have your name and room number on their list.

Yes, it's automatic.  Just show up to the Club Class entrance, they will check your name against their list and escort you right to your table without any wait.  We really enjoyed Club Class.  It actually works much the same as the Mimosa Breakfast for Suite passengers, but CC is in a cordoned off section of the MDR instead of Sabatini's/Crown Grill.

 

It's important that you keep Anytime Dining if you want CC, rather than switching to Traditional.  You can still eat at the same time each night, and with the same table-mates (provided they are also CC), but by keeping the Anytime designation you free up a table for non-CC Traditional diners.

We don’t use Club Class Dining for breakfast. Suite dining is infinitely better. Love the Mamosas without the orange juice.

There will be no problem getting seating for two.  The "not too close to others" may be problematic.  It all depends on what time you care to dine.  If you go for dinner at, say, 6:00 pm, more than likely the room will be pretty full, and the table options my be limited.  If you walk in at 8:00 there is a good chance that the room will be much less crowded, and you can be seated by yourselves at a four-top.

I agree 100% with you on that. Last week on the CB, we found that waiting 30 minutes or so after CC opened up, they ran out of two tops quickly and got seated a a nice larger, four topper by ourselves.

As others have said, no problem getting a table for two. But, that normally means a table for 4 seperated by 6-12 inches.  I don’t mind it because “neighbors” seem to engage, or not, depending on how social they want to be.

CC dining is much better than just Anytime dining.  You will not have to wait for a table.  Well, you may have to wait a minute or two, but we've never waited more than that.  It makes it so nice when you have excursions that get you back to the ship at varying times.  That's what I will miss not having a suite next time!

Pacific Princess does not have anytime, just traditional. We are in Club Class, a full suite, they show us now at 5:00 PM early seating, they say both 7:15 and 5:00 are waitlisted. Go figure.  We were 6:00 PM but their new policy changed things. 5:00 is way too early. Any ideas.

Or order room service breakfast. We saved one of the half bottles of champagne we received with our suite to make a batch of mimosas our last morning. It was a great way to have our last meal on board the Royal as our cruise was ending.

Get on the waitlist for the later seating. It will probably come through.

 

I also do not understand how both sittings can be waitlisted on that ship. That happened to me several years ago, but I cleared the waitlist for my desired seating long before embarkation.

I thought with Club Class, you can go at any time you like and are not restricted to the times in the traditional dining room.

If you are booked in a suite make sure you have breakfast in Sabatini... we believe it's the best perk you receive as a suite guest!

Also... they will go out of their way to fix anything you request. 

 

P.S.  The fresh orange juice is the actual reason we book suites!

We have been on the Pacific Princess before and always chose 6:00 with a table for two and were waitlisted for a while but like now were confirmed for 6:00PM. We prefer 6:30. Yet, both times, when we boarded it showed first seating as 5:30 PM. Our last cruise on the Pacific, in January, when went down to the MDR the first time, they said 6:30 would be okay. 

 

It is confusing but I guess we find out after we board. Sure hope Oscar is in charge.

Reading these posts about CC has been very appreciated since we'll be trying CC for the first time many many days from now on the Enchanted Princess!  Booked a Premium Mini-suite CC and look forward to the "no wait" with 3,660 passengers onboard!.............our booking "Travel Summary" does indicate "Dining: Club Class" eventhough we always choose AnyTime with our "passenger profile"..................enjoy!

Just got off the Pacific.  Club Class was sooo good. So was the other amenities in the full suite. Not counting those we get as Elites.  Hard to ever live without all that luxury from here on. Oscar wasn't there, as he moved over to the "Crown" but his legacy lives on. No problems anywhere and one of the greatest if not the greatest cruises for us ever when considering the sandpoint of cuisine and cabin quality.
