I Heard that Carnival offers a new dessert buffet anyone knowing what ships this is available?

Breeze in October    The new cakes were amazing.

Was on Paradise for Halloween cakes were amazing. Tried several the lemon cake and rainbow cheese cake were my favorites

We are currently on the Breeze. The cakes offered at lunch are amazing!

I love cake with frosting (think the cake of childhood).  Many Carnival desserts have a pudding - like consistency product between the layers of the cake. And also is used as the "frosting". 

 

Any chance these new delicious cakes are the old-fashioned kind?

We really enjoyed the new cakes. They had them on the Breeze each day. They were better than other desserts and set up separate from the buffet.  They also had people slicing and serving them.  To me, they weren’t as good as the cakes at the coffee shop but they were free and very tasty

I hope they're on the Dream. The cakes with the gelatin layers and the cream cheese frosting on chocolate cakes are not to my taste.

They are.  I had them on the Dream last week.  There was a peanut butter one that was so yummy!  Hubby and I tried to go back and get another slice to take to our room for later,  but it was all gone by the time we went back.

They were on the Magic back in July. They were much improved from the previous cakes. I also would like to know if they are on Fantasy Class ships.

Good to know - I will be on Magic 3 weeks from today. My fist several cruises, I always got a piece of Key lime pie on embarkation day. Then the key lime pie disappeared, for a while, but, then, it would appear occasionally on any given cruise. But, from the pictures that someone posted, it looks like the key lime is there.

On Horizon the cakes were out for every lunch. Some are different each lunch. There was always a German chocolate cake. The chocolate peanut butter was very good, but I found not all the cakes were to my liking. Enjoy!
